Abstract

This research highlights the shift toward renewable energy in developing countries by analyzing the economic, political, and social challenges that hinder this transition, with a focus on the role of emerging technologies in overcoming these obstacles. The study shows that moving toward clean energy sources is a strategic choice to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and achieve sustainable development. The findings indicate that the success of the energy transition greatly depends on the legislative and investment environment, the level of public awareness, and the availability of advanced technologies. The research concludes with a set of recommendations, including strengthening legal frameworks, providing financial incentives, supporting scientific research, and promoting regional cooperation in the renewable energy sector.
