Plagiarism is the use of others' ideas, texts, data, or research results without proper attribution or documentation, and presenting them as original work. This includes:
Verbatim copying from published or unpublished sources without citation.
Extensive paraphrasing of others' content without proper documentation.
Copying data, results, tables, or images without permission or citation of the source.
Self-plagiarism: Republishing the same research or substantial parts of it in more than one venue without disclosure.
The journal utilizes specialized software for text similarity checking (Similarity Check / Turnitin or equivalent).
All submitted papers are screened before being sent for peer review.
The overall similarity index must not exceed 20% to 25% of the text (excluding references and headings).
Any unjustified similarity in major sections (Abstract, Results, Discussion) is considered a breach of publication ethics, regardless of the overall percentage.
Stage 1 (Pre-Review): If plagiarism is detected before the peer review process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the author will be notified.
Stage 2 (Post-Review/Acceptance): If detected after review or acceptance but before publication, the publication process will be suspended pending investigation.
Stage 3 (Post-Publication): If detected after publication, the paper will be Retracted, and a formal notice explaining the reasons for retraction will be published.
In confirmed cases of plagiarism, the journal may impose the following sanctions:
Rejection of the manuscript and banning the author from submitting new research for a period determined by the Editorial Board (up to two years).
Notifying the author's academic or research institution in cases of severe plagiarism.
Blacklisting the author from future collaboration with the journal (e.g., as a reviewer or Editorial Board member).
Authors must ensure their work is entirely free from plagiarism before submission.
Authors bear full responsibility for any breach of publication ethics related to plagiarism.
