Abstract

     The study aims to identify economic corruption and its impact on achieving sustainable development, provide a conceptual framework on the concept and nature of corruption in general, and economic corruption in particular, reveal economic corruption and its justifications, and its economic, political, and social motives, and highlight ways to address corruption. The researcher followed the economic approach and ways to reduce it in the future. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach: which consists of describing the phenomenon of economic corruption in all its aspects. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The statistical test F - Boundes Tests, and the sign and significance of the error correction coefficient confirm the existence of a balanced relationship between the rate of sustainable development and the variables of the study from the short term to the long term.
