الْحِفَاظ على هُوِيَّة المدن التَّاريخيَّة اللّيبيّة في ظلّ التَّمويل الحكوميّ
Abstract
This study examines the problem of identity of historical cities in Libya and the extent to which it is possible to develop a vision for a solution that reduces the state of chaos experienced by these cities ، and the possibility of re-employment under government funding.
The architectural identity is a vivid and sincere expression of the culture of communities .to preserve these historical architectural and artistic features ، it is necessary to reduce the negative influences that drive these features to damage and extinction. through this study ، the research seeks to highlight a methodology that combines the possibility of preserving the functional identity of historical buildings and funding them with government funding to manage ، maintain ، restore and re-operate these historical buildings ، in accordance with the local reality of the country.
Despite the different social ، economic ، environmental and demographic conditions of the historical cities within the Libyan homeland ، and the different commercial and industrial activities that are based on them ، they all come together in terms of the state of architectural chaos and low service conditions ، which gradually loses its historical value and takes away its national identity.
Through this ، the research finds that to the extent that the conditions of its low urban condition have been met ، to the extent that the circumstances of its rescue from this emergency situation have been met by the introduction of government funding in the process of maintenance ، restoration ، follow-up and restart of these cities ، in line with their historical nature.
